Hi, friend. My name is Lydia Marrow and I serve at Shake the Nations Ministries and I’d like to welcome you to this edition of God Today. You know, the Bible says in the Book of Isaiah, in chapter 43:18-19, God said “Remember not the former things nor consider the things of old for behold I am doing a new thing. Now it springs forth. Will you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.” Friend, I want to remind you today that it is awesome to look back and celebrate the great things that God has done in your life.
There are so many powerful moves of God for us to remember and to learn from and celebrate, but I want to remind you today, don’t get stuck or bogged down in the past because God wants to do a brand new thing in your life. You know, in the book of Ephesians chapter 3, verse 20 Paul said that God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond all we could ask, think, or imagine. I want to ask you today, what are you living in? Is it the past? Is it even today? Because I want to challenge you, don’t just look to today, but look to what God wants to do in the future in your life. He wants to pour out something that none of us has ever seen before. It may not just be called revival. Maybe this time it’ll be called awakening. But wherever you are, in your homes, at your job, whatever you’re doing right now, I want to ask you, lift your vision higher. God wants to do a new thing.
I’m going to pray for you right now. Father, in the name of Jesus, I come to you this afternoon with my brother, my sister, I want to ask you, God, pour out the new thing that you have for each and every one of us. Lord, we seek you across the nations of the world right now, through the ministry of GOD TV to pour out your Spirit on all flesh, that our sons and our daughters would prophesy, that old men would see visions and dream dreams. God, do something in this earth that we have never read about in revival history. Do something in the nations, in our cities, in our churches, in our homes and even in our families, God, that we have never seen before. We want to see something that we have no frame of reference for. God, we ask you to do it everywhere that someone’s watching right now, pour out your Spirit. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
