Welcome, GOD TV, this is Dr. Chauncey Crandall. I am a physician and a cardiologist and I believe in the power of God, amen? You know, I have found out through my experience as a believer and as a physician that we can pray for the sick. And sometimes we are presented with impossible circumstances. There is a verse in 2 Corinthians that says that “we pray by faith and not by sight”. Meaning that we have faith in God and when we are presented with impossible circumstances, or illnesses, or tragedies that we can pray in the name of Jesus and call on Him and He will come to us. He will mend our bodies, he will heal us, he will restore us.
And this has been a great help to me as a doctor, that I can walk down the wards of the hospital and I can reach my hand down and pray for those that are sick around me in the hospital ward. You know, they get great comfort from this. Even people that do not know God can reach out, like I am reaching out to you, they can reach out to you and they say, “Doctor, can you pray for me in Jesus’ name?” And I do that, and I want to tell you that the glory of God comes to that hospital room because the kingdom of God arrives in that hospital room and sets those men and women free in Jesus’ name.
