Welcome to God Today, I am Dr. Nasir Sidikki, “wisdomministries.org”. I have a lot to share with you, but I want to give you a word that is burning in my heart, about the 7 habits of highly successful people.  I want to just tough one of those habits.  It is, of course, in Hebrews chapter 12, verse 2:  “Looking away from all that will distract, to Jesus, who is the author and the finisher of our faith.  For the joy that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising, ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father”.

What is this one habit that I want to share with you? Did you notice that Jesus was the author and the finisher?  What does that mean? He started things but then He finished things.   How many of us start this, and start that, and get on this project, and say we are going to clean the house, or we are going to do the garage? But, we never are finishers.  One of the keys that causes success in Christian life is to be a finisher, not just an author.  A lot of people start stuff.  A lot of people come to me and they say I’m gonna start this, and I’m gonna do this, and I’m gonna pray every day, and I’m gonna read my Bible every day, and I’m gonna study the Word. I’m gonna grow in the Word of God, change my life.  But they’re all starters, very few are finishers.  If you want a key to success you’ve gotta learn to be a finisher.  Whatever you start, don’t let go of it until you finish it.  And if you have to set it aside because another priority that came into your life and something else you had to take care of, by all means, set it aside.  But, come back and finish it.  See, Jesus is just as much concerned about what you start as He is concerned about what you finish.  Don’t just be a starter of things, be a finisher.  Now you are conforming to the image of Christ.  Now you are going from glory to glory, become a finisher.

Let me pray for you.  I thank you, Lord, that you give every viewer revelation that they can’t just keep starting things, that they have to learn to finish what they’ve started.  That every project they have out there has little or no value unless they actually finish it.  Remind them, Holy Spirit, sir, that every time they start a project that they are to finish what they started.  If they give their word to someone they are to keep that word and finish what they declared they would do.  We ask this now in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
