Hey, I am Brian Guerin with Bridal Glory International. Welcome to God Today. I want to talk to you about what I feel is the highest priority in life. That is to intimately know Jesus Christ. You know, they sent a lawyer in Matthew 22, obviously they know how to word things just right and corner people, to Jesus and see if they could capture Him into what is the most important thing in life. He said, “That’s easy.” He said, “The first and greatest command is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, osul, and mind.” And the second command is obviously to “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
I want to encourage you guys in life. Before you do anything else, you want to cultivate that place of intimately knowing Jesus Christ. He even says, “Go into the closet, shut the door behind you so that the Father sees you and knows in secret.” It doesn’t have to be a public thing, just intimately. Everyday spend time with Jesus, spend time in His word, in His presence. That’s why even Jesus said, “Give us this day, our daily bread.” Even the manna in the old testament would rot everyday if you didn’t partake of it daily. Jesus in John 6 says, “I am that manna that came down from Heaven.”
I want to encourage you guys and pray for you as well. Just to really solidify that in your life. You see Jesus in Mark 1:35. He would get up well before the sun, go to a solitude place to be with the Father in prayer. This will literally flip your whole word upside down, radically, for destiny in the Father and love Him. See it as I pray. God I thank you for this listener and even now, I just speak life into this secret place. That the Word of God would come alive and your blessing and ease and a grace to love you like never before. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
