...submit to the Lord in your everyday living.  He will put you in the right place at the right time, for miracles to happen.

Hello, my friends.  I am Troy Brewer and I am the senior pastor of Open Door Church in Burleson, Texas.  I want to say Welcome to God Today. Whenever you are what I call a “drop dead sold out Jesus freak” opportunities you never dream of are going to come your way.  Some are amazingly orchestrated and they leave you knowing God is good. Others just drop right in your lap and you have to make the most of what you have to work with.  Those are so much fun to me.

On my second mission trip to Uganda, East Africa, some 20 some odd years ago, Leanna and I had a 16-hour layover in beautiful London, England.  I love London and all things British. I was standing on the street trying to make myself look right, left, right, whatever the traffic is instead of left, right, left.  I saw a police escort coming down the road, directly towards me. There was a pretty sizable traffic jam and it caused this motorcade to stop directly in front of where I was standing.  The vehicle just stopped. I looked in the backseat of this limousine closest to me. There, not five feet away from me, is the Queen of England in the flesh. I couldn’t believe it. She made eye contact with me in a split second I had to think, I did the only thing I could think of.  I jumped forward, put my face nearly up against her window, and I yelled, “Hey, Queen Elizabeth, Jesus loves you so much.”

Guards began to pour out of their surrounding cars to beat the liver out of the foreigner who was yelling at their beloved monarch.  Obviously, I love her. I love her so much, but they were like, “Step away from the Queen!” I was like, “Okay, okay, but Jesus loves you!”  Just like that, the car took off. I only had just a second. Watching the Queen drive away, I held my wife’s beautiful hand, and I muttered, “Honey, that was the Queen of England.  I just got to preach to the Queen of England.” Now, it was a very short sermon. One sentence. But, it was the best that I could come up with.

Because of my obedience in going to Uganda, I had an opportunity.  A very very brief opportunity, to be on the right sidewalk, in London, at exactly the right time.  I call those things “logistical miracles”. But, the Bible says in Romans 8, “and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.”  That is so true. You know, you will only do the great things God has called you to do if you are willing to be the person that God Almighty has called you to be. Go to the places where you are needed. Your character and your destiny go hand in hand.  Today is a good day to submit to the Lord in your everyday living. He will put you in the right place at the right time, for miracles to happen.

I want to pray for that.  Are you ready to pray for logistical miracles today?  Father God, take our hearts. Take our hearts today, Lord God, and God, we want our heart to be your heart.  We want our ways to be your way. Father God, sir, we want our minds, God, to be your minds. I pray, Lord Jesus, for logistical miracles for every single viewer today of GOD TV.  I love you King Jesus, and I thank you, sir. In Jesus’ name. Amen. Hallelujah.

My friends, that is all the time I have for today.  I am Troy Brewer and I call you the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, and highly favored of the Lord. Bye, bye.
