I want to encourage and bless you, whether you’re just starting your morning routine, or you’re on a lunch break, or even ending your day. This inspirational message is for you. Romans chapter 15, verse 13 says, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace and believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit, you may abound in hope.”
Reverend Cecil Quamina says in his devotional called Hope of Nations, “Many people testify that they are happiest when they are looking forward to something. It might be a vacation, seeing an old friend, or getting presents. Sometimes looking forward to these things is more enjoyable than the actual event.”
When a believer hopes in the Lord, their entire life changes. It becomes different. There is direction and purpose in their life. There is great promise and expectation. It means that we are no longer ensnared by the world, nor do we judge ourselves by its petty standards. God is our judge and hope. This hope and attitude comes directly to us from the precious Holy Spirit. We cannot force it or fake it or buy it. There is peace and assurance and genuine joy that can only come as a result of His supernatural work. Hope comes only from the God of hope.
Romans chapter 12, verse 12 says, “Rejoice in hope. Be patient in tribulation. Be constant in prayer.” If you’re watching or listening to this and you need a boost of hope, I want to pray for you that your faith increases and that you will draw near to our amazing God of hope and be filled with His love, grace, power, and hope.
Precious Holy Spirit, I pray that Your love, Your grace, Your power, and Your hope fills everybody who’s watching or listening. Lord Jesus, You alone are our hope. Our source of life, You alone are worthy to be praised. So fill everybody right now and rescue them and give them a boost of hope in Jesus’ name. Amen. I’m Jared Laskey with Fireborn Ministries.
