Welcome to GOD TV. I’m Peter Vandenberg working with Christ For All Nations. I’m so happy to be able to have this time with you to share something from the Word of God. You know the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans chapter 8, that section is called Life in the Spirit. That actually changed my life and has guided me for so many many years in life and ministry and relationships, and I want to share something of that with you right now.
I’m going to read a verse, Romans chapter 8:10. It says, “If Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet your Spirit is alive because of righteousness. And if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus Christ from the dead is living in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal body.”
Paul is talking here about the Holy Spirit. That’s God himself. As the Holy Spirit moved on Christ, and changed Him and raised Him from the dead; the same Spirit lives in your right now. I know that’s sometimes difficult to really accept. But it’s true. Paul wrote it thousands of years ago. And multiplied millions of Christians have experienced it and are experiencing it right now and you can, too, in Jesus’ name!
Right now as I’m reading this text to you, I’m sure you’re feeling the fact that the Holy Spirit is within you. And I pray, and I will pray that throughout this day, you will be conscious as never before of the Holy Spirit living in you and through you. I want to pray for you right now. Lord, I thank you for your Spirit at work in my friend. I thank you that you make the difference, you break the power of sin, and you rule by your Spirit in my friend today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
