Hi, I’m Pastor Rich Summerlin from New Way Church in Palm Coast Florida, and I want to welcome you to God Today. The Bible says that in Colossians 1 and 23; “If you continue in the faith, grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under Heaven: wherefore I Paul am made a minister.” Now in the beginning of this, it tells us to continue in the faith, to be rooted or grounded, or get faith settled on the inside of you.
You know, I see a lot of Christians through the years; that they get a knowledge, a head knowledge of faith, but they never take time to get faith rooted and grounded on the inside of them, to really meditate on God’s word to the point where it becomes a part of your being.
You see, when faith gets that big on the inside of you, it will begin to push out doubt, fear; all the worldly stuff. And your answer will begin to flow from God’s word. Or the answer to the problem’s not going to be worldly, it’s not going to be fear-based. But you’re going to begin to speak out of God’s word or out of what you placed in your heart. The word of God, or faith words. Faith words move mountains, our Bible says. Faith words, oh, they can just change everything in your life, my friend. I want to pray for you in just a moment. But first I want to tell you this today: Don’t you give up. Continue in faith. Don’t abandon faith, don’t abandon God. He hasn’t quit on you. And great things are before you. That’s God’s promise to us. All things become possible to the believer.
The Bible says tha, “To them that believe, all things become possible.” So no matter what you’re going through today, don’t give up. Get some faith words. Meditate on the word of God. Romans 10:17 says, “so that faith comes by hearing, then hearing by the word of God.” So get that in your heart. Begin to believe, begin to say what God has said about you in His word.
I want to pray for you now. If you would bow your heads and close your eyes. And whatever it is that you’re believing for right now, just understand God’s bigger than it. He’s bigger than the problem. He can overcome it. He is bigger than sickness and disease. And I’m going to pray and am going to believe that God’s going to touch you right where you’re at, and things are going to begin to change in your favor.
So right now, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I believe with Him. I command these attacks of silence, of darkness, sickness, and disease – to loose hold of them in Jesus mighty name! I thank you, Lord, for peace, for breakthrough, I thank you for joy, in Jesus’ name I pray. And I call you blessed. Amen. God bless you and have a wonderful day.
