Let’s talk about prayer today and how it is true that Jesus is in us and we are in Him. In John 17:23, Jesus is praying to the Father, and He’s praying that we would know that we are in Him and He is in us, that is including the Father.
And so when we pray, we’re not alone. When we pray, we enter His presence and pray with Him. Jesus is our High Priest. “He loves to make intercession for those who draw near to God through Him.” It says that in Hebrews chapter seven. And I believe that if we’ll just enter the throne room, if we will remember that we’re seated in heavenly places, we can listen and He’ll show us what to pray. We can partner with Him as He makes intercession.
So just know today that when you go into your prayer closet, when you are spending time in prayer, just know that Jesus is praying with you. You are never alone.
Sometimes we think God is just way up there and we’re way down here, but we’re actually in Him. So as you pray, just have peace in knowing that your High Priest, your Intercessor, is praying with you, and He will do the things that you ask. Jesus said, “Ask the Father anything in my name and He will do it for you.” So remember where you are and who you belong to.
So I just pray for you right now that you’ll have encounters in the presence of God, and as you pray, you will see breakthrough in Jesus’ name. Amen.
