Hi, are you looking for peace today? Are you looking for that peace of mind, peace of heart? You want everything to just calm down. You just feel like running, you know, when you just feel like I just want to go somewhere and just hide? You just want the peace of God to just overwhelm you?
I think I found a scripture that can help us to find that peace, but there are conditions that God wants us to follow so that we can get that peace. So let’s go together to Philippians 4:6. Okay? So it says, “Do not worry about anything…” Some of you already hate me. You don’t want to hear that, right? When you are going through stuff and someone says, “Don’t worry,” Iike, you don’t understand what I’m going through. I’m going through a hard time. But remember that God already factored your situation in, and He says, “Don’t worry.” He already knew; nothing takes God by surprise. He knew that you were going to go through this. He knew that it was going to hurt you. But He says, “Don’t worry about anything.” So it says, “Don’t worry about anything. Instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need and thank Him for all He’s done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything you can understand.”
Oh my goodness, that is amazing! And then He says, “His peace will guard your heart and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” That is awesome guys. This is the answer. His peace, not only will you experience it, but His peace will have a job. His peace will guard your hearts and your minds after you do these three things. Don’t worry, pray about everything, thank Him for all that He’s already done. Then you get two amazing things: peace that exceeds anything you’ve ever experienced, and number two, peace that will guard your heart and your mind for the rest of your life. That is amazing. God really loves us and He wants us to experience His peace, but He wants us to stop worrying, because He has us. He is our God. He really wants us to depend on Him. But He just wants us to do those three things and then we will be overwhelmed by His peace. Peace like never before.
Can I pray for you? Father, I thank you for every woman and every man, every boy and girl that is watching today. I just pray that, God, you give them the courage to stop worrying about anything. You give them the faith to just believe your word, to know that you have them in the palm of your hands, and to know that they can trust you. That they can just stop worrying and that they can pray about everything. That they can just tell you what they need and that they can thank you for all that you’ve already done for them, because you’ve already done so many things in their lives. Satan easily wants to blind us of all your goodness when things are going rough, but we choose to be grateful for all that you’ve done. So, Lord, I pray that for every person today, that God let them see your goodness. Let them be grateful. And Lord, let your peace that surpasses all understanding just overwhelm them. Let their minds just feel that peace. Let their hearts just feel that peace, that calm, that calm like never before, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Well, I believe God is done it for you. Stop worrying, pray.
