I want to share with you today a breakthrough that I recently had a few months ago, and it’s breakthrough in physical healing. I don’t know about you, but I believe that God still heals. He is healing. I’ve seen it happen and I’ve been a part of it. And, you know, I’m more comfortable with other things, but I’ve learned to step into the gift of healing with the Holy Spirit. He lives inside of us. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in me and you, and as we lay hands on the sick, they will recover.
And so that is a truth in the Word of God, and I’ve believed that. I’ve prayed for people, and I’ve seen headaches leave. I’ve seen a foot be healed, I’ve seen backs healed, I’ve seen metal melt in people. They couldn’t bend their leg because of a metal rod and then they could, because of the healing power of God.
But you know what? I hadn’t experienced it for myself, you know, and it’s so true, I heard somebody say once, “It’s so much easier to believe for somebody else’s breakthrough than it is for yours,” because you’re facing the pain in your body or the situation or the circumstance. But I experienced breakthrough and physical healing even though I’d seen it happen, and I prayed for people and I’ve seen God heal them and been a part of that, I hadn’t experienced it for myself.
And so I was going to the gym. I was working on taking care of my temple, and I hurt my foot. Some of the tissues in the bottom of my foot were inflamed and it hurt my tendons. My achilles tendon was tight and it would make my foot hurt, like so much to the point that even just standing for long periods of time, I’d have to sit down. And I was at church one day during worship and one of the leaders got up and they just started calling out words of knowledge. Holy Spirit was just sharing His heart for what He wanted to heal that night. And one of the things He called, you know, so I got ready to pray for people, because that was my M.O. And as soon as he started calling out different things that he felt like Holy Spirit wanted to heal, he’s like, “Pain in the heel.” And I’m like, “Oh, wait! That’s me!” And so instead of being prayed for, I was like, “Oh, I’m gonna get prayer.” And so a friend next to me who had recently experienced her own breakthrough and physical healing, the first time she’d ever been physically healed, she’s like, “Oh, I’ll pray for you.” And she hopped over, prayed for my foot, all the pain left. And I was like, and I know God heals, I’ve been a part of it, but when you experience it for yourself, it just does something else.
And so I want to pray for you right now for physical healing that maybe you’ve even like me, have prayed and seen God heal people through your prayers, but you know what? You haven’t experienced it yourself. And so I release physical healing, breakthrough over your body right now, from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. That what Jesus did for someone else, He can do for you, too. Sometimes we just need to get rid of that lie and flush it, right? Because it’s true. And so I release healing over your body from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet. And we speak to pain and we speak to sickness, and we command it to leave in Jesus’ name, and we declare that today is your day for breakthrough. Amen.
