Welcome viewers of GOD TV, my name is Harvey Katz, and I’m happy to share with you some insight from the 23rd Psalm, probably one of the most famous Psalms ever written.  Let’s read it: Psalm of David, “The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.  He makes me to lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside the still waters, He restores my soul.  He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil for you are with me.  Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.  You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.  You anoint me with oil, my cup runs over.  Surely, goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Very interesting. This psalm is really broken up into two parts.  The first three verses are all about the Lord.  “The Lord is my shepherd”.  And look at what happens as a result.  There is provision, protection, contentment, supply, direction, and purpose.  And we look at the last three verses, it changes.  It goes from “the Lord” and it starts off, “though I”. “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death”.  And we look here and we see a different perspective.  They’re both the same place.  One is coming from God’s perspective and the other is from man’s perspective.  I don’t know what you’re going through today; if you’re going through a valley, a shadow of death, threatening health, finances, relationships.  But, I want to tell you, come out of your perspective and come into God’s perspective, that He is your provider, and turn to Him through Yeshua, Jesus, His son.  And he will be your guide, your protector, and director.  He will be your all in all.

Would you pray?  Thank you, Father, for sending Jesus to by my shepherd, as my Lord.  And I just take you right now and ask that you take all my sins and come into my heart.  And I give my life to you.  Help me, Lord, I need you to direct me and protect me.  In Jesus’ name, we pray.  Amen.
