Hi there, I am Diana Levine, the Rebbetzin of Kol Mashiach Messianic Synagogue. Welcome to God Today.
I am going to be talking today – wait for it – I am going to be talking about GPS. We all use them everyday. “Waze” is my favorite. Today I want to tell you about a story. Allen and I (my husband) we love adventures and we love travel. The problem is that we don’t speak other languages. I speak some Spanish, but we don’t speak other languages.
We landed at the airport in France and of course we rented a car, got in the car, and the first thing we did was what? Push the button, put the address in of this little town that we were going to. The name of it was La Colle Sur Loup. So, as ugly Americans, we drive around, we don’t know where we are going. We are following this GPS that is telling us “go right, go left, get on this highway, get off this exit.” And we‘re like, “Ok, we are getting there.” We got to this little sleepy town and we look at each other and go, “This is the street, but we don’t know where this apartment is.” So, we drive up and down, up and down. Finally, we can’t find it. I get out of the car, walk down the street, and guess what? There it was, on my left, down an alley. I go down the alley and I start laughing. This little GPS got us faithfully exactly where we needed to be. Then I realized, I didn’t trust the GPS. And what’s more? I have trouble trusting my God who has a bigger GPS. See, He has a God provided security. He provides the security to get me where I am going, what time I need to get there, safely getting me there, He provides everything. My trouble is trusting God to give me that security and provide that security.
Today I want to encourage you to trust that GPS. Trust that God will bring you exactly where you need to go at the same exact time that you need to be there. That He will provide that security. May you today, as you walk through life, have each step ordered by the Lord. May He provide every single moment of security that you need. I pray this in Yeshua’s name. Amen.
