You can’t go wrong if you are seeking Him.

Hi, I’m Misha, Messianic recording artist and welcome to God Today. Today I want to talk to you about seasons and change.  In the past five years, I have met my husband, moved across the country, had a baby, changed careers three times, and that’s a lot of change in a small period of time. I just wanted to talk to you about how you might know what to do in your life, what path to take. For me, the answer has always been peace. Follow the peace of God that surpasses all understanding and He will guard your heart and mind, and He will direct your path.

For me and my husband, we seek the Lord together and we make decisions together.  We come before the Lord on our own and then meet together and see what He is speaking to us.  If we don’t have peace about something we don’t do it. Another verse that has directed my life is, “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well.”  Whenever I am overwhelmed with what I might be next or where to go next or what to do next I just remind myself of this passage and I am encouraged because what it says to me is the only thing I need to worry about is if I am seeking God first.  If I am doing that there is nothing else I need to worry about because He is going to direct my path.

I want to encourage you where you are at.  If you’re overwhelmed by life’s decisions, choices, changes, to seek God first.  He will direct your path and you don’t need to worry if you’re on the right path because you are on the right path.  You can’t go wrong if you are seeking Him.

I want to pray for you today for that.  God, I thank you for the person on the other side of this screen, God.  I pray that you would speak to them wherever they are, that you would give them peace about what steps to take next in their life.  That you would remind them that the only thing that matters is if they’re seeking you first. If they’re seeking you first, everything else will fall into place and they need not worry, fret, or fear about anything.  So, God, I thank you for your peace and for your direction for our lives and that you hold each one of us in the palm of your hand. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
