There is a part of us, the spirit of man that reaches out to God, even those who don’t know Him, that’s why we preach the Gospel.

Welcome to GOD TV! I am Peter Vandenberg with Christ For All Nations and it’s a real joy to be with you during this time to share something from the Word of God, and that’s what I want to do right now.

A passage of scripture written by the Apostle Paul has been a guiding light to my life, throughout my Christian experience, and I want to share that with you where Paul talks about life in the Spirit.  And, I am referring to that very well known chapter, chapter 8 in the Book of Romans and I want to read the first two verses to you and then share something with you from it.

Paul writes to you and this is what he says: “Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.”

Wow, what powerful, powerful words. You know Paul is talking here about life in the Spirit and we can be forgiven, you can be forgiven for thinking, “Well now that’s now something beyond me,” but it’s not. You’re a spiritual person, all of us are spiritual. There is a part of us, the spirit of man that reaches out to God, even those who don’t know Him, that’s why we preach the Gospel.

And, that spirit of man in you reaches out and is joined with the Holy Spirit of God and it’s that which gives you the liberty to be set free in Christ Jesus. He made a way for you and for me to be free from the law of sin and death which brings everybody down and breaks us and this power is available to you today. And, may this day be magnificent as you live in the power and the freedom of the Spirit of God.

I want to pray with you right now. Lord, I thank you for my friend listening right now. I thank You that Your Spirit, the Law of Your Spirit sets them free; sets each one free and we can live in the freedom and the dynamic of your Holy Spirit today, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
