I’m Joseph Z and did you know it’s time for you to start thinking about what you are thinking about?  Now, that might sound unique to you, and you might say, “Well, what does that mean?” Well, just what I said. It is time for you to start thinking about what you’re thinking about.

Why? Because, brothers and sisters, or anybody who’s watching this right now, whatever you’re thinking about is what is going to show up in your life, and it’s a powerful truth when you recognize this. I’ll say it another way.  As a matter of fact, whatever you’re listening to, more of that will be given to you. Whatever you’re meditating on, your heart and your mind is like an incubator that will grow and culture things until it gives birth. Now, many times in life we see things that we don’t appreciate, we don’t like happening in our life, but a lot of it can be traced back to what we’ve meditated on and what we’ve been thinking about.

Let me show you in the Word of God what I mean. It says something really powerful in Romans 7.  Please pay very close attention if you would. Please, you really want to hear this. If there was anything I could say to you today, this would be so valuable and so important for you to walk away with, because it’ll give you victory and you can reset the mechanism of your journey so you can hit a destination that you actually want to arrive at.  Romans 7:23. Now I’m going to get a running start at it, so hang in here with me if you would. Romans 7:23. It says, “I find then (this is Paul talking) a law that evil is present within me, the one who wills to do good.”  Paul is saying, I want to do good, but I find these things. Verse 22, this is powerful, “For I delight (Paul is saying), in the law of God, according to the inward man.”  He’s talking about his spirit that’s reconnected to God the Father.

How many of you know you’re perfect in your spirit? You’ve been regenerated, reunited to God the Father. Jesus did that in John 20:22, where it says He breathed on them and they received the Spirit, right? That was when they were regenerated to the Father. That’s what Paul’s talking about. He’s saying very clearly, he said, “I delight in the law of God according to my inward born again man.”  But verse 23, he steps into the area now of the soul. The soul is the battleground where you can think just like an unbeliever, you can be a Christian, a believer in Jesus and get the same results as an unbeliever, because of how you manage your soul, or more specifically, what you’re thinking about.

Let me show you. In verse 23 it says, Paul is saying this, “But I see another law in my members warring against,” hang on, get this, pay very close attention to this phrase, “warring against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin, which is in my members.”  Now, very briefly, the law of the mind. I’m going to say it again so you hear what I’m saying: the law of the mind. In other words, Paul is saying there’s impulses and things and circumstances that happen in life that begin to challenge, or they press against the law of the mind.

We know the Bible says that the fiery darts of the enemy try to come against your mind over and over. The law of the mind means this: if darkness or life circumstances or anything else can get into your mind where it suddenly is what you are thinking about regularly, what you think about regularly is what you’re going to produce. The law of the mind. The Bible calls it the law of the mind, because the law of the mind means this: whatever you put in the mind, you will eventually produce in life. Whatever you think about you’re going to produce.  Think of your mind as an incubator and whatever you feed it, whatever you process over and over and over again, eventually will manifest in your life, either by words or actions or just by a supernatural response.

It’s time for you to think about what you’re thinking about. I encourage you to get the Word of God in your mind, purify your thoughts, get them clear. Start putting faith in your mind. Start reading the Word and you will begin to have results that will change the very trajectory of your destiny. Man, I hope this helped you today. Jesus is Lord. I’m Joseph Z and I sure look forward to talking to you again very soon.
