This is John Bongiorno, from GOD TV and welcome to God Today. You know, Moses saw the plight of his people in Egypt and he realized, even though he grew up in the house of Pharaoh, his heritage was Hebrew. And he saw an Egyptian task master, mistreating a slave, and Moses said “I have to do something to help my people”, so he took things into his own hands, and we read about how he killed the task master and he tried to hide his misdeed. What happened is that is cost Moses 40 years in the desert. He had to run and hide. But during that 40 years, God did a work in Moses’ heart and in his life.
When we take ourselves, and align ourselves with His strategic plan, wonderful things can happen. They say when Moses tried to do it on his own, ended up in the desert for 40 years. But now he strategically aligns himself with God’s plan, and God uses him to deliver 2 million people out of Egypt from slavery and eventually go into the Promised Land.
You say, “What can God do through me?” I challenge yourself today, align yourself with God’s plan. He has a plan and purpose for your life, and God can use you mightily to bring deliverance to people who are out in the bondage of sin.
Let’s pray. Father, thank you, that you do have a plan and purpose for our lives. We are so thankful, dear God, that you are able to redeem Moses and all of the things that he did, the mistakes that he made. He was known as one of the most humble man that ever lived, and he brought his people out of bondage. Lord, today, help us be the kind of person that can lead people into the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and deliver them from the bondage of sin. Help me to align my plans with your plans, so I can do great things for you. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
