Hi, I’m Jeri Hill with Together in the Harvest. Welcome to God Today. Today I want to speak to you about a scripture that has meant a lot to me over the years and my husband when we were in ministry together and it was Psalm 126:6. “He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”
How many of us have unsaved loved ones out there and unsaved people next door to us, unsaved people around us at our jobs and we don’t think about them? We don’t think about them being away from God. But my prayer today is that God will speak to you, and that He’ll begin to place a burden on your heart for the lost that are around you and that you will not give up on them. That you will go after them, that you will share with them, that you’ll share the love of Christ with them. Don’t be afraid of losing your job, don’t be afraid of offending somebody. Go after them.
I had a pastor wear me down for two years and shared Christ with me for two years when I was lost in sin, away from Him and I didn’t want to hear from him, but I needed it. I needed what he was talking about and he kept coming back every Saturday for two years.
And if you think you’re bothering people, bother them, wear them down, go after them with tears in your eyes. Let them know that Jesus loves them and has a plan for them. The seed that you’re carrying of the Word of God, of the Spirit of God, they need what you have. Go after them and share with them that He loves them and He has a plan for their lives and believe for their deliverance.
Father, I pray that your anointing will be on them and that the soil of the hearts of the people they’re talking to will be receptive to what they have to say. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
