I want to encourage you today and tell you, you are beautiful. And I don’t know about you, but I had a dad that was verbally abusive. He never told me that he loved me. He never called me beautiful. And despite the fact that I was doing modeling, acting, that truth just never actually hit me where it mattered. But one day I had this encounter with God and Jesus was actually dancing in front of me. And I’d never seen that before. He said, “Oh, Lindy-Ann, I’m way funnier than you think.” And I’m like, “You sure are.” ‘Cause I grew up with like a a stiff church, right? And so anyway, so He’s dancing with me and suddenly the Holy Spirit reminds me that He told me He was going to give me a word at this place. So I said, “Jesus, you said you’re going to give me a word, and I want that word now.” He said, “Oh, that you’re beautiful?” I said, “No, something serious, like which nation have you called me to? Who’s my husband?” You know, something grandioso. And He said, “Oh, I get it now. You’re gorgeous.” And suddenly it hit me like a ton of bricks that the King of the universe is in love with me. He calls me beautiful.
If all the earth rejects you, but the King of the universe has accepted you, hey, how can you still sit with those lies? So I just want to say right now, if you are struggling with self-hatred, self-criticism, struggling to believe that you are beautiful, that you’re wanted, that God calls you beautiful. I want to tell you, I had a stranger that leading up to that testimony, I had an old man bring me a bucket full of flowers, told me, “God told me to bring you these.” I found a bottle of perfume on a chair and literally an angel put it there. I had seen it the previous day in the store and I didn’t have enough money, but that’s a whole other story. And after all these events I went, wow, God, you’re not just a Man of words. Hey, you’re a Man of action. You brought me flowers. You brought me perfume. You did this, this dah, dah, dah, dah. And I said, “You must really love me.”
So right now, if you need to receive that word, let me pray that over you. Father, right now just release your glory and any person that has spoken condemnation, shame and the opposite over you, we forgive them right now, and we cancel those words in Jesus’ Name. And I release the word of the Lord over you. That you are beautiful. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are made in the image of God. When God looks at you, He sees Himself, ’cause you are in the reflection of Him. You are Daddy’s kid. Amen? So I bless you with that. I break every curse over you and I release the blessing of the Lord over you. You are His, you are beautiful.
