I want to encourage you today with a few effective strategies for breakthrough. You know, we are called to the body of Christ, 1 Corinthians tells us, and we need one another. And that is the first strategy that I want to encourage you is get people to pray with you. Matthew 18:19 says that if two of us agree, it will be done. I want to share a testimony. There were three of us that are single, and we got together and we fasted, which is another key for breakthrough. I’ll get to that in a second. We fasted for a week and we got our friends that were already married to pray with us for that week. And then at the end of the week, we met together and we prayed. They prophesied over us and prayed for us. And you know, within the next year, one of us has already been married. A friend met her husband and married in six months. That’s amazing! I have her wedding save-the-date picture on my refrigerator, because her breakthrough is my breakthrough.

And so, you know, what God did for one person, He can do for another. Revelation 19:10 –and this is His second strategy– is that “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” And so when we have a testimony of what Jesus has done in our lives, it prophesies to others. And the prophetic, if you read in 1 Corinthians 12, 13, and 14, the prophetic strengthens, encourages and comforts. So when my friend got married, that prophesies that what happened for her is possible for me. And so I keep that picture on my fridge because I’m like, if He did it for her, He can do it for me. And it strengthens me, it encourages me, and it comforts me as I’m believing for my breakthrough.  Okay, so we need others to pray for us and we need the testimonies of other people that have already experienced the breakthrough that you’re pressing in for.

And then I mentioned fasting. Fasting, you know, is, I think it’s not something that’s so much for God, but it’s for us. It’s denying ourselves and seeking Him fully and not being distracted physically so that we can focus on Him. And fasting is another strategy for bringing breakthrough and partnering with the Holy Spirit. Ask Him, you know, like, “Should I fast about this?” And then ask Him how to fast. I’ve done a liquid fast, I’ve done a Daniel fast. There’s lots of different ways. Do I need to stop? Do I need to fast from this certain thing so that I can focus on this? Just ask Him. But these are just a couple strategies for breakthrough.

So I just want to pray right now. I want to declare over you that your breakthrough is breaking through. I prophesy to that thing that you’ve been pressing in for, that you’ve been believing for. And I come into agreement for where you need finances to break through, that they would. Where you need relationship to breakthrough, that it would. Where you need healing to breakthrough, that it would. I release physical healing over bodies right now. That sickness would leave in Jesus’ name, and that the breakthrough that you need in your body would happen even just by you hearing me pray right now. Not because I’m powerful, but because the same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in me. And I release that over you for breakthrough in spirit, soul, and body. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
