This is Robert Henderson and this is God Today. You know, we’ve been talking about the courts of heaven, we talked about how to release finances to the Lord, to sow our finances, and how that releases a testimony. Let me show you a scripture in Matthew 5:23, it says, “Therefore, if you bring your gift to the altar, and there you remember that your brother has something against you,” He says, “Leave your gift there before the altar and go your way. First, be reconciled to your brother and then come and offer your gift.” Isn’t that interesting that Jesus said, “Don’t give your offering if there is something wrong in your heart with somebody else?” He says don’t do this.
Why would He say not to do this? Because the next verse tells us why – verse 25, “Agree with your adversary,” that’s the Greek word “antidikos”, and it means “one who brings a lawsuit”. He said, “Agree with your adversary, the one who is bringing a lawsuit against you. Agree with him quickly while you are in the way with him,” it says, “Lest your adversary deliver you the judge and the judge hang you over the officer, and the officer throw you into prison.” Watch what he is saying. He is saying if you bring your offering with the wrong testimony attached to it – with bitterness, or anger, or manipulation in your heart. Watch what he says. He says, “The adversary, the accuser, the antidikos, he will grab hold of the testimony of that money and use it to build a case against you. Because the wrong testimony is attached to it in the spirit realm.
So here is what you need to do. You need to say, “Lord, I repent for any place I brought an offering with the wrong heart. I ask that that voice on that offering be silenced so that the enemy does not have the right to use it to build cases against me. Let only that which is holy, let only that speak in my behalf and let me sow seed only that has the right testimony attached to it, so that it is releasing the right witness into Heaven for my breakthrough to come to the glory of God.” So, I bless you.
