Welcome to God Today, this is KC Craichy, founder and CEO of Living Fuel and marketplace minister. Come back with me just a few years and hear a story that is incredible.

In the afternoon of a soccer game for my son, we had a soccer party at our house. Most of our friends in that particular scenario were baptists because it was a baptist league. So, we were sitting around the pool and all the kids were in the pool and all of a sudden I hear screaming. My son, at the time he was 8-years-old, Joshua, was swimming in the pool with his goggles on, which I had never seen him do before. But he saw one of his friends on the bottom of the pool, laying on the bottom of our 10-foot pool. He said he was lying there with his eyes open with, literally, a look of horror on his face.

My son said he had no air, he had to go to the surface, but he said he couldn’t. So he dove to the bottom of the pool and grabbed this little boy’s arm and pulled him up and handed him to somebody. Then the screaming and the commotion started. They yelled for me. I saw this kid, this black boy who was really purple and gray. And they were handing him up out of the pool and I ran over there. And as I ran over there I screamed, “No! You shall live and not die and declare the works of the Lord!” As I grabbed this young man, he was limp, he was lifeless. I took him from the pool into our backyard and put him in the backyard. I started pumping his chest, saying, “The life of Jesus Christ, the life of Jesus Christ, the life of Jesus Christ.” And then my wife, Monica, started walking around us and praying in the Spirit.

And our friends who were around the pool told us in retrospect that they were praying, praying, and praying until they had nothing left to pray. Then they were watching. And the boy’s mom was standing beside us and she said, in retrospect, she was praying and praising God. She said she was in shock, she couldn’t move, but she was praising God that somebody knew how to pray.

So, I continued to pray and another gentleman came and helped us. But we were still forever trying to bring life into this lifeless boy. And my eyes saw a dead child. But for some reason, my spirit would not allow me to stop. So we continued, and my wife continued to pray in the Spirit. The paramedics got there, but all of the sudden, after forever, the kid sits up and starts talking with us. And we are looking at this kid and we are amazed and in disbelief that this young man who was dead was now alive. And now the paramedics came up and said, “Sir,” and the police, who had 5 cases like that this year already. And 4 were dead. And 1 is brain dead. “Sir, I am sorry, but this kid’s lungs are going to be full of water. He is still at risk of drowning. He is still a significant risk for brain damage. We have to take him to the hospital.”

They put him in the ambulance and raced him to Arnold Palmer Hospital. The next morning would have been the boy’s 7th birthday. So they put him through all this testing and so on. And the very next morning they released him with a clean bill of health. Nothing was wrong with this young man. On his birthday, the next day he went to school. And the kids said, “So what did you do this weekend?” And he said, “I died and God raised me from the dead.” That’s what he said.

What I am telling you is that theology doesn’t matter. You can’t convince me that God doesn’t raise the dead because I saw it. What I am saying is that whatever situation you are going through right now, God can handle that situation. We have to put our faith and trust in Him and lean not in our own understanding. In all our ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct our paths.

So, I say to you know, to start recognizing that the situation that you are in may seem impossible, but God is the God of the impossible. He says, “With Christ all things are possible,” I ask you to lift up your concerns to the Lord. And allow Him to intervene. And, Lord, I pray in the name of Jesus that everyone hearing this will be touched to the heart because your Word says that people become overcomers “by the word of your testimony and the blood of the lamb.” So, I asked the Lord now to release another level of hope and faith to the people watching right now. That their situation, too, can be changed for your glory, Lord. In the name of Jesus.
