Have you ever felt like giving up maybe completely or maybe just in one area of your life? You cannot figure it out? You know what? I want to encourage you today. Galatians 6:9 says, “Do not become weary in doing good for at the proper time, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up.” Do not give up. There’s a harvest coming, I want to encourage you.
And you know what? You’re not doing this alone. John 16:13 says that the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, will lead you into all truth. And so you can just invite the Holy Spirit into that situation, that circumstance, that relationship, that conflict, that dream, whatever it is, you can invite Him in and He will lead you into all truth.
You know, sometimes we like to blame the devil for everything, and he is at work in the earth, the scripture is clear on that. But sometimes there’s things that you and I need to do in partnership. I remember I got this prophetic word and it was about 200 to 600 young people coming to Christ and having this harvest of souls. And I was running the college group at my church, and I was stewarding that word, and I was going after it. And do you know that when I ended up leaving and moving to a different state, there was not one college student in the church, and I was stewarding that word. I was sowing, and I felt like the biggest failure. I’m like, I don’t want to do ministry anymore. But you know, the Holy Spirit that leads us into all truth, He gave me a revelation. He spoke to me about that, and He said, “You’ve done a great job of stewarding the word I gave you, but other people were making choices, and so I chose not to pour out my Spirit in that way.” He said, “You didn’t fail. You stewarded your piece of the word well.” But you know what? I never would’ve gotten to that point if I didn’t have the Holy Spirit. I would’ve just given up and I would’ve just, you know, I don’t know what I would’ve done. So thank God for the Holy Spirit.
I want to pray for you right now that you would have the boldness to invite The Holy Spirit into the areas of your life where you need help. He is the Helper, after all. Jesus is like, “I gotta go so I can send you the Helper.” So Holy Spirit, would you help? Would you speak? Would you give direction? Would you give insight? Would you give wisdom? Would you give revelation? Holy Spirit, would you come and would you speak so that the areas where you feel stuck and where you feel like giving up, that you would not become weary in doing good for at the proper time you would reap a harvest. And so I bless you with a harvest and to be led into it by the Spirit of truth. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
