Hi, my name is Bob Benoit and I am with the Lord And Benoit Institute, and welcome to God Today. I would like to talk to you today about a concept that I call the speed of God’s grace. So, let’s say there’s a bubble of grace and our goal is to stay in God’s grace and sometimes that bubble’s going to be moving fast and mighty things are going to be happening. Other times it’s slower or even stopped. And our job is to really be sensitive to the Holy Spirit and say, “Are we in the grace of God?” How are we going to know that, if we’re in the grace of God?
One thing I believe is we will have an understanding in our heart of the fruits of the Spirit. So, in other words, we’re walking in God’s grace, we’re moving forward, we’re along that narrow path and anything outside of that narrow path is not of the Lord. I call them devil verbs; there’s fear, anxiety, stress, those kinds of things, guilt. Those things are obviously not fruits of the Spirit.
So, the fruits of the Spirit are love, that we’re loving no matter what, that there’s joy no matter what, and patience and self-control, so there’s no anger in our situation when we’re in God’s grace. And the other cool thing is that the Spirit of the Lord is upon us. So, the Spirit of the Lord is wisdom, knowledge, understanding, counsel, and power. So, these are like signs that we’re walking in God’s grace; we’re moving in that timing and His power and we have peace and we’re gentle.
So, I just want to give you that and just I pray for you right now to receive God’s grace, His powerful, wonderful grace and walk in it, and be sensitive to it. So, Lord, just lift up every person this morning, that you would guide them and teach them how to walk and be sensitive to what you’re doing and follow you in that narrow path, and know that they’re with you by the fruits of the Spirit and the Spirit of the Lord upon them.
